Franchesca, A Scholorship Story

Post Date: July 18, 2016 Categories: Scholarships

Good Afternoon,

My name is Franchesca, I graduated from North Paulding High school in 2015 and was the recipient of The Paulding Education Foundation Scholarship. It has been over a Franchesca year since I graduated, and I wanted to thank you again for awarding me the Foundation Scholarship. It truly was and still is a great honor. This scholarship helped me greatly in reducing my financial burden and allowed me to focus more on my education. I am now entering my second year at South Georgia State College. Great things have happened at this school for me. I am now the President of the Student Government Association, and a part of the residence life and housing team at SGSC. I am almost halfway done with my degree in Early Childhood Education. I hope to teach at a school in Paulding County, but school for me does not stop after my bachelor's degree. There is always something new I could learn. As a future educator, I want to be educated with the best knowledge, so my students can be prepared and ready for the next level. I will be pursuing a graduate degree in Educational Leadership. I have such a passion for education and hope to become a principal after a few years of teaching. With all this said, I am forever grateful for the opportunity you gave me and I will continue to work hard in school. Thank you for time.

Sincerely,

Franchesca C.
