Scholarships 2017

The Paulding Education Foundation and its family partners are proud Scholarship Award to offer the following scholarships to students within the Paulding County School District. These scholarships are offered and awarded on an annual basis by the Foundation with the support of the counselors at each high school within the district. The Paulding Education Foundation awards over $22,000 in scholarships every year.

FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP 2017

The Foundation awards a $1,000.00 scholarship to a graduating senior at each high school. The criteria for selection are based on grades, community involvement and contributions, and economic need.

ARAMARK SCHOLARSHIP 2017

New for 2017, this is a Scholarship Fund established by Aramark Corporation. The amount to be awarded will be a $500.00 Scholarship to a graduating Senior at each of the five Paulding County High Schools.

BREAUX & ASSOCIATES ARCHITECTS SCHOLARSHIP 2017

A $1,000.00 scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior at each of the following schools; East Paulding, Paulding, and Hiram High School who is majoring in math or science related field including but not limited to Architecture or Engineering.

DELUXE ATHLETICS SCHOLARSHIP 2017

Three $1,000 scholarships awarded to a female scholar athlete from each of the following high schools: North Paulding, South Paulding, and Hiram High Schools.

HUBERT AND BETTY MARTIN SCHOLARSHIP 2017

A $1,000.00 scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior at Paulding County High School. The criteria for selection are based on academics and participation in the community or with an organization.

JESSICA BOLES SCHOLARSHIP 2017

A $2,000.00 scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior at East Paulding High School in the memory of Jessica Boles by her parents, Bill and Cheryl Boles. The criteria for selection are based on academics, community involvement and contributions, and economic need.

LOGAN'S CROSSING MHC SCHOLARSHIP FUND 2017

The Logan's Crossing Manufactured Home Community Scholarhsip Fund Logan's Crossing Manufactured Home Community Scholarhsip Fund was established by Dr. and Mrs. Ron Cobb, owners of Logan's Crossing Manufactured Home Community is Dallas, Georgia. It is available to students who are residents of Logan's Crossing MHC. This program seeks to encourage excellence and achievement in both attendance and academics by students who live in this community. The award levels are as follows:

Elementary School: $50 to any resident student with perfect attendance for the entire school year.

Middle School: $75 to any resident student with perfect attendance for the entire school year.

High School: $100 for any resident student with perfect attendance for the entire school year; $100 for any resident student who graduates high school with a diploma or a GED, regardless of age; $250 for any resident student with a B average (i.e., qualifying for a Hope Scholarship) for the entire school year.

College or Tech School: $1000 cash each year that a resident student is awarded a Hope Scholarship by the state of Georgia.

MAGILL FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP 2017

This is a Scholarship Fund established in honor of The Magill Family and is available only to students who attend Paulding County High School. This program seeks to encourage excellence and achievement in both academics and participation in community/club or organizations activities.

SHEFFIELD FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP 2017

This is a Scholarship Fund established by The Sheffield Family and is available only to students who attend Paulding County High School. This program seeks to encourage excellence and achievement in both academics and participation in community/club or organizations activities.

WESLEY RAKESTRAW SCHOLARSHIP 2017

One $3,000.00 scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior with a 2.5 or higher GPA and being an active member in a civic organization or club.

Submitting - How to Apply

The submission deadline for the scholarship and referral forms is April 1. Please turn in your completed packet to your school guidance counselor. If you have any questions regarding Scholarships, you may email Karen Vines.
