By partnering with the Foundation, your company can tap into the Paulding Work-Based Learning Program that assists businesses with building a highly trained, technologically sophisticated and career oriented young workforce. Our goal is to assist in the creation of a strong support structure between local employers, students and schools. Work-Based Learning supplies talent to address industry workforce shortage needs. We promote an industry-driven system where employers set occupational skills standards, collaborate on curriculum, provide work experience and certify mastery of skills. Join the over two-thousand employers in Georgia investing in the Work-Based Learning Program today.

For each $3,500 that we give to sponsor a student, the State of Georgia gives an additional $6,500 for a total cash scholarship of $10,000 to a University System of Georgia or Technical College System of Georgia school. In addition, most schools in Georgia will match, or even triple, the $10,000 for a total of $20,000-$30,000 in funds to be used along with their HOPE Scholarship. These funds can be used for housing, transportation, books, meal plans or anything that would help the students complete college with a degree. This scholarship is making a huge impact for students that want to change the trajectory of their life and willing to prove it over 4-8 years while being in the program. The Paulding Education Foundation is passionate about supporting our educators to do the impactful work they do with our students. The Foundation has given over $90,000 in grants back to our educators in order to enrich the education of our students. In additional to departmental grants, the Foundation offers a School Grant Program for the Paulding County School District. All 33 schools are encouraged to submit a School Grant Proposal once a year. Any school within the district may submit a grant proposal. Two grants will be awarded at the Elementary School level, one grant awarded at the Middle School level, and one grant awarded at the High School level. These are typically awarded in the winter every year and are funded by the Gimme 5 Employee Donation Program as well as the fundraising events the Foundation host every year.
