The Paulding Education Foundation and its family partners are proud to offer the following scholarships to students within the Paulding County School District. These scholarships are offered and awarded on an annual basis by the Foundation with the support of the counselors at each high school within the district. The Paulding Education Foundation has awarded over $100,000 in student scholarships over the past 5 years and now gives out on average $35,000 in scholarships every year. In addition to these local scholarships, the Foundation also provides funds for the Georgia REACH Scholarship for students in the Paulding County School District.

The amount to be awarded will be $1,000.00 per Scholarship per Paulding County School. One Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating Senior at each High School. The Scholarships will be issued in accordance to the rules of the Scholarship Committee.

The criteria for selection are as follows:

  • Which Administrator has had the biggest impact in your journey and what has that motivated you to accomplish? (A current Paulding County Administrator)
  • No specification on GPA but will factor into the ranking process.
  • You must have demonstrated perseverance and tenacity to be the best you can be in your education, character and/or community.
  • Must be seeking a Bachelor’s degree.

NEW

The amount to be awarded will be $2000 and is available only to female athlete/STEM students who attend Paulding County High School. This program seeks to encourage excellence and achievement in both academics and participation in community/club or organizations activities.

The criteria for selection are as follows:

  • Must be graduating from Paulding County High School

  • Must be seeking Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

  • Must achieve grade point average of 3.0 on 4.0 scale 

  • 3.25 GPA Min – Female Athlete

The following requirements will be considered in the decision process of making the award: 

  • Attending (University/Collegewill add additional points to the scoring and ranking process
  • SAT/ACT scores will be part to the ranking process
  • Honors or awards received by applicant will be part of ranking process.
  • Community/church service will be part of the ranking process
  • Membership in any clubs/organizations (and any offices heldwill be part of the ranking process
  • Applicant’s financial need for scholarship will be part of the ranking process as well
  • Applicant’s career goals will be part of the ranking process also.

The amount of the scholarship is $500 awarded to a graduating senior at any of the high schools within the Paulding County School District. This program seeks to support a student desiring to further his/her education at a recognized technical or trade school.

The criteria for selection are as follows:

  • Must be graduating from a Paulding County High School.

  • Must be seeking degree, diploma, or industry certificate at a recognized technical or trade school.

  • Must achieve a grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

  • Must have 5 or fewer unexcused absences in his/her last semester.

 

The following requirements will be considered in the decision process of making the award:

  • Honors or awards received by applicant will be part of the ranking process.

  • A history of Community Service will be part of the ranking process.

  • Applicant’s financial need for the scholarship will be part of the ranking process.

The amount to be awarded will be a $1,000.00 Scholarship to a graduating Senior from each of our high schools.. This program seeks to encourage excellence and achievement in both academics and participation in community/club or organizations activities.

The criteria for selection are as follows:

  • Must be seeking a Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent.
  • Must achieve a grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

 

The following requirements will be considered in the decision process of making the award:

  • Majoring in Math, Science, Architecture, or an Engineering interest will be given extra points in the ranking process.
  • SAT/ACT scores will be a part of the ranking process.
  • Honors or awards received by applicant will be part of the ranking process.
  • Community/Church service will be part of the ranking process.
  • Membership in any clubs/organizations (and any office held) will be part of the ranking process.
  • Applicant’s financial need for the scholarship will be part of the ranking process.
  • Applicant’s career goals will be part of the ranking process.

The amount to be awarded will be a $1,000.00 with a possible tag on for 3 years after to a graduating Senior in the Paulding County School District. This program seeks to encourage excellence and achievement in both academics and participation in community/club or organizations activities.

The criteria for selection are as follows:

  • The applicant must be a graduating senior in the year of the application.
  • The applicant must have an overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • The applicant must be seeking a Bachelor Degree or equivalent.

 

The following requirements will be considered in the decision process of this scholarship:

  • Attending (University/College) will add additional points to the scoring and ranking.
  • Majoring in Broadcast or Digital Media will be given extra points.
  • SAT/ACT scores will be part of the ranking process.
  • Honors or awards received by applicant will be part of ranking process.
  • Community/Church service will be part of the ranking process.
  • Membership in any clubs/organizations (and any offices held) will be part of the ranking process.
  • Applicant’s financial need for scholarship will be part of ranking process.
  • Applicant’s career goals will be part of the ranking process.

The amount to be awarded will be $1,000.00 for a graduating Senior from one of the high schools in Paulding County. This program seeks to encourage excellence and achievement in academics.

The criteria for selection are as follows:

  1. Must be graduating senior from a high school in Paulding County.
  2. Must be seeking an Associates/Bachelor’s Degree.
  3. Must achieve a grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale
  4. Must perform school or community-based volunteer services during their senior school year.
  5. Consideration will be given based on needs of the individual.
  6. Must be seeking a S.T.E.M./Technical Degree or Certification and or Associates Degree i.e.: Nursing or any medical field.
  7. Must be a member of a civic club preferably Interact Club.
  8. Describe in an essay your leadership goals you want to pursue after school.

The amount to be awarded will be $1,000.00 per Scholarship per Paulding County High School. One Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating African American/Minority student at each High School. The Scholarships will be issued in accordance with the rules of the Scholarship Committee.

The criteria for selection are as follows:

  • Must achieve a grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Must be seeking a degree in Athletics related field
  • Must be seeking a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate involvement/contribution in the community.
  • Demonstrate financial need.

The amount to be awarded will be a total of $2,000 in two separate $1,000 scholarships to two graduating seniors at any of the high schools within the Paulding County School District. This program seeks to encourage collegiate study of a fine or performing art.

2 Scholarships of $1000 each

 

The criteria for selection are as follows:

· Must be graduating from a Paulding County High School

· Must be seeking a bachelor’s degree or equivalent

· Must achieve a grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

· Must be pursuing a degree in the fine or performing arts or an education degree in the fine or performing arts.

 

The following will be considered in the decision process for the award as well:

· Honors or awards received by applicant will be part of the ranking process

· Community service will be part of the ranking process

· Membership in any fine arts clubs/organizations (and any office held) will be part of the ranking process

· Applicant’s financial need for the scholarship will be part of the ranking process

· Additional preference will be given to students seeking to become fine arts educators

The amount to be awarded will be $1,000.00 per Scholarship per Paulding County High School. One Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating Senior at each High School. The Scholarships will be issued in accordance to the rules of the Scholarship Committee.

The criteria for selection are as follows:

  • Must achieve a grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Must be seeking a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrate involvement/contribution in the community
  • Demonstrate financial need

The amount to be awarded will be Two $1,000.00 Scholarship to a graduating Senior at each of the 5 Paulding County High Schools. This program seeks to encourage excellence and achievement in both academics and participation in community/club or organizations activities.

The criteria for selection are as follows:

  • The applicant must be a graduating senior in the year of the application.
  • The applicant must be graduating from Paulding County District High School.
  • The applicant must have an overall GPA of 3 or higher.
  • The applicant must have achieved a College Preparatory or Technical Preparatory diploma.
  • The applicant must have a minimum score of 900 SAT or 21 ACT.
  • The applicant must be an active member of a civic organization or club.

The amount to be awarded will be a $1,000.00 Scholarship to a graduating Senior at Paulding County High School. This program seeks to encourage excellence and achievement in both academics and participation in community/club organizations.

The criteria for selection are as follows:

  • Must be graduating from Paulding County High School.
  • Must be seeking a Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent.
  • Must achieve a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

 

The following requirements will also be considered in the decision process of making the award:

  • Attending UGA will add additional points to the scoring and ranking process.
  • SAT/ACT scores will be part of the ranking process.
  • Community/Church service will be part of the ranking process.
  • Membership in any clubs/organizations (and any offices held) will be part of the ranking process.
  • Applicant’s financial need for scholarship will be part of the ranking process.
  • Applicant’s career goals will be part of the ranking process.

The amount to be awarded will be a $1,000 with a possible tag on for 3 years after, scholarship to a graduating Senior from a Paulding County High School. This program seeks to encourage excellence and achievement in both academics and participation in community/club or organizations activities.

The criteria for selection are as follows:

  • Must be seeking Any Academic Study.
  • Must be seeking a Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent.
  • Must achieve a grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

 

The following requirements will be considered in the decision process of making the award:

  • Majoring in an Academic study. No vocational or trade areas will be considered.
  • GPA
  • Community/Church service will be part of the ranking process.
  • Membership in any clubs/organizations (and any office held) will be part of the ranking process.
  • Applicant’s financial need for the scholarship will be part of the ranking process.
  • Essay must be included.
  • SAT/ACT Scores
  • Career Goals

The amount to be awarded will be a $2,000.00 Scholarship to a graduating Senior at East Paulding High School. This program seeks to encourage excellence and achievement in both academics and participation in community/club or organizations activities.

The criteria for selection are as follows:

  • Must be graduating from East Paulding High School.
  • Must be seeking a Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent.
  • Must achieve a grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

 

The following requirements will be considered in the decision process of making the award:

  • Attending UGA will add additional points to the scoring and ranking process.
  • Majoring in Early Childhood Education will be given extra points in the ranking process.
  • SAT/ACT scores will be a part of the ranking process.
  • Honors or awards received by applicant will be part of the ranking process.
  • Community/Church service will be part of the ranking process.
  • Membership in any clubs/organizations (and any office held) will be part of the ranking process.
  • Applicant’s financial need for the scholarship will be part of the ranking process.
  • Applicant’s career goals will be part of the ranking process.

The amount to be awarded will be $1,000.00 to a graduating senior from Paulding County High School. This program seeks to encourage excellence and achievement in academics.

 

The criteria for selection are as follows:

  • Must be graduating senior from the Paulding County High School.
  • Must be seeking an Education Major in a Bachelor’s Degree program.
  • Must achieve a grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Must perform school or community-based volunteer services during their senior school year.
  • Consideration will be given based on needs of the individual.
  • Recipient of this scholarship may reapply each year for a continuing scholarship based on a need basis for a total of four (4) years. Recipient understands they will be in the scholarship pool with graduating seniors each year and past selection is not a preference to scholarship award.

The amount to be awarded will be $1,000.00 for a graduating Senior from Paulding County High School.
This program seeks to encourage excellence and achievement in both academics and participation in
community/club or organizations activities.

The requirements for selection are as follows:

  • Must be graduating from Paulding County High School.
  • Must be seeking an Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Must achieve a grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

The following criteria will be considered in the decision process or making the award:

  • Attending (University/College) will add additional points to the scoring and ranking process.
  • SAT/ACT scores will be part to the ranking process.
  • Honors or awards received by applicant will be part of ranking process.
  • Community/church service will be part of the ranking process.
  • Membership in any clubs/organizations (and any offices held) will be part of the ranking process. Higher ranking of points if member of FFA club.

The amount to be awarded will be a $1,000.00 Scholarship to a graduating Senior at any of the Paulding County High Schools. This program seeks to encourage excellence and achievement in both academics and participation in community/club or organizations activities.

The criteria for selection are as follows:

  • Must be graduating from a Paulding County High School.
  • Must be seeking an Associates/Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent.
  • Must achieve a grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Must perform school or community-based volunteer services or participate in a sports program during their senior school year.
  • Consideration will be given based on needs of the individual.

The amount to be awarded will be a $1,000.00 Scholarship to a graduating Senior at any of the Paulding County high schools. This program seeks to encourage excellence and achievement in both academics and participation in community/club organizations.

The criteria for selection are as follows:

  • Must be graduating from a Paulding County School District high school.
  • Must be seeking a Teaching Certification or degree.
  • Must achieve a minimum grade point average of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale.

 

The following requirements will also be considered in the decision process of making the award:

  • SAT/ACT scores will be part of the ranking process.
  • Community/Church service will be part of the ranking process.
  • Membership in any clubs/organizations (and any offices held) will be part of the ranking process.
  • Applicant’s financial need for scholarship will be part of the ranking process.
  • Applicant’s career goals will be part of the ranking process.

The amount to be awarded will be $1,000.00 for a graduating Senior from Paulding County High School.

The criteria for selection are as follows:

  • Must be graduating from Paulding County High School.
  • Must be seeking an Associates/Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Must achieve a grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

The amount to be awarded will be $500.00 per Scholarship from the South Paulding Spartans Cheer Club, Inc. One Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating Senior Cheerleader at South Paulding High School that participated in cheerleading during the 2020-2021 school year. The Scholarship will be issued in accordance to the rules of the Scholarship Committee.

The criteria for selection are as follows:

  • Must graduate from South Paulding High School.
  • Must be a current paid member of the South Paulding Spartans Cheer Club, Inc. and participated as a Varsity cheerleader or designated mascot during the current school year.
  • Must achieve a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
  • Must provide 2 references
  • Must submit an Essay (Maximum 500 words) on a subject to be determined annually by the Board of Directors of the SPSCC, Inc.
  • Must attend a post-secondary education facility. (Collegiate or Trade School)

The amount to be awarded will be a $3,000.00 Scholarship to a graduating Senior at Paulding County High School. This program seeks to encourage excellence and achievement in both academics and participation in community/club or organizations activities.

The criteria for selection are as follows:

  • The applicant must be a graduating senior in the year of the application.
  • The applicant must be graduating from Paulding County High School.
  • The applicant must have an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • The applicant must have achieved a College Preparatory or Technical Preparatory diploma.
  • The applicant must have a minimum score of 900 SAT or 21 ACT.
  • The applicant must be an active member of a civic organization or club.
