Purpose: To support innovative projects, classroom instruction, and programs that enhance the school curriculum and / or enriches the learning experience for students.
General Guidelines
Each application will be reviewed based on a rubric and must include the following characteristics:
✓ Focus on student achievement
✓ Innovative
✓ Appropriately aligned with District Strategic Plan and the School Improvement Plan
✓ Measurable impact and results regarding student achievement
✓ Cost Effective
The committee will review the submitted grant applications and determine if the proposal meets the established criteria.
This year schools may request grant money for STEM, math, literacy, and innovative/advanced programs to obtain resources, materials, and activities to enhance the initiative and / or enrich the learning experience for students. Appropriate district staff will need to approve equipment requests. Equipment purchased through a school grant becomes the property of the Paulding County School District.
